Tips/advice for aspiring players:
For me, in artistic billiard, you must start with the basic of billiard playing, learning the correct position at the billiard table and to become proficient with the basic techniques. Of course, the right cue is important to start with! Above all, perseverance, discipline and exercise are necessary to become a champion.
Best advice he received:
The goal of a competition is to win always; however, if not you have to understand that you cannot always win, and you must learn from your failures in order to do it better the next time.

Other Activities Eric Enjoys
I have a billiard shop where I sell billiard cues, tables, and all other billiard goods. This is on top of my professional career in the private sector (Atlas Copco) and my job in Artistic Billiard playing. So, a big part of my life is concentrated on Billiard playing and networking with billiard professionals and hobbyists.
Therefore, I can become a key ambassador of McDermott cues if there is more need for you as a company to do so. I also like to perform professional demonstrations in order to animate the audience and to create a pleasant interaction with people. In addition to a professional Artistic Billiard player, I am a sound communicator.
